cleanenergysolar.ie · prepared for Clean Energy Solar only

You rank on page one for Cork's biggest solar search. Eleven people a month click through.

This review is about who your website brings in. The site itself is in good shape: real installation photos, real five-star reviews on the homepage, SEAI and Safe Electric badges shown clearly. "Solar panels cork," an 880-a-month search, ranks 6th, which is genuinely page one. It only pulls 11 visits. Four separate pages exist about the SEAI grant, and between them they bring in zero. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

"Solar panels cork"
6th
880 searches a month. Genuinely page one.

Splitting the same search four ways.
Battery storage & EV charger page traffic

Real product pages exist. Nobody arrives from Google.
01 The rankings

You're on page one. The clicks say otherwise.

109 searches are tracked against this site. A handful genuinely rank on page one, but the visits arriving from them are thin, and the pages built for grants, batteries and EV chargers rank nowhere at all.

What people GooglePeople / monthYour situation
clean energy solar (your name)2601st, 208 visits. Your name carries most of the traffic.1st
solar panels cork8806th, page one, but only 11 visits a month.6th
solar energy1.6K8th, 6 visits. Real volume, thin return.8th
seai solar pv grant48089th, from one of four separate grant pages.89th
solar panel installers ireland72053rd. No measurable traffic.53rd
solar battery storage ireland39074th, from the battery storage product page.74th

The pattern: where a page has a clear single subject, cork and your own name, it ranks and gets clicked. Everywhere the subject is split across more than one page, grants especially, the ranking either collapses to page nine or never happens.

Bottom line: Your page-one rankings are real. They're just not pulling their weight in clicks, and everything else sits on page five or later.
02 The specifics

Four things holding the numbers down

The homepage design, photos and reviews are already doing their job. These are the structural issues underneath.

Duplicate
Your Google listing repeats itself
Your homepage title reads "Solar Panels Cork - Clean Energy Solar - Solar Panels Cork," the phrase "Solar Panels Cork" twice in one line. To someone scanning results, a doubled phrase looks automated rather than written for a person, which can cost clicks even at a good position.
Duplicate
Four separate pages exist about the same SEAI grant
/seai/, /offers/seai-solar-pv-grant/, /offers/seai-grant-top-up/ and a dated blog post are all live, all about the same SEAI solar grant. Google has four competing pages to choose from for the single search "seai solar pv grant" and currently ranks the weakest of them, 89th.
Unranked
Battery storage and EV charger pages get zero search traffic
Dedicated product pages exist for the Solis inverter, home battery storage and the Zappi EV charger, real content, no design issue. None of them rank inside the top 50 for the searches they're built around.
Weak
"Solar panel installers ireland," 720 searches a month, has no home
This is one of the larger buying searches in the whole account, and only the homepage makes a weak, unranked attempt at it (53rd). There's no page built specifically to answer someone comparing installers nationally.
Worth noticing

This is not a design problem, it is steady monthly work. The homepage already converts: real photos, real reviews, clear calls to action. The searches with money behind them need one clear page each, not four competing ones.

Bottom line: The site looks the part. It just has too many pages chasing the same searches and not enough chasing the rest.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · Your homepage's Google listing, before vs after
Removing the repeated phrase and adding a specific reason to click should help the 11 visits from an 880-a-month, page-one ranking grow without moving position at all.

Fix 2 · Consolidate the four grant pages into one
One strong grant page beats four competing ones. Ordered by which to keep.
Keep /offers/seai-solar-pv-grant/ → owner: merge in the content from /seai/, /offers/seai-grant-top-up/ and the 2026 grant blog post, then redirect all three to it
/product-category/battery-storage/ → owner: build one clear "battery storage ireland" landing page with the Solis and 5kw products linked from it
Fix 3 · The remaining quick fixes
Small, checkable, no design work involved.

05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

The searches in this report add up to

4,330 searches every month across the six terms above.

Around 225 visits a month currently arriving from all of them combined, almost all of it from your own name.

Two confirmed page-one rankings, both pulling far fewer clicks than the position should.

"Solar panels cork" alone is 880 people a month, and it's already ranking. Grants, battery storage and the national installers search add another 1,590 on top of that, all currently unclaimed. You know how many of those searches turn into a job for you, and what a job is worth. That's the sum worth doing on your side.

Bottom line: The rankings you have are underperforming, and the searches you don't have are sitting right next to them, unclaimed.
Why sooner beats later

Your organic keyword count is still growing month over month, which means Google is actively re-evaluating the site right now. Fixing the listing and consolidating the grant pages while that's happening gets the benefit faster than waiting for the next crawl cycle.
